Instead she's being rushed to Paige when that shouldn't be happening until Summerslam if done right.

I don't know that she is being rushed to Paige. Asuka isn't baby or heel yet as she hasn't yet been established as either. Like with Braun Strowman, they're taking their time with her to gauge fan reaction first. Fans crapped on Strowman early for being a Vince McMahon guy just like Roman, difference is Strowman made Mr. No Chin Music famous and Roman hasn't done that for anyone yet. People love Strowman now. With Asuka it is still too early to tell, but she seems to be leaning baby with the fans.

fans are definitely behind her, but the problem is that Absolution, or more specifically, Paige, also have the fans behind them.

the build certainly seems to be leading to Paige and Asuka earlier than Summer Slam, but since at the earliest, Paige would be challenging Bliss at the Rumble, though more likely Mania if WWE don't blow their load, it still gives time for Piage and Asuka to interact during the tailend of the a feud between Bliss and Paige.

Sasha, Bayley, Dana, Nia, Fox, Alexa, and Mickie all come out and start brawling with Absolution. Nia Jax steps in the ring and hits a big boot on Rose, then Paige and Sonya pull Rose out to safety at ringside. Absolution retreats up the ramp as the rest of the RAW women look on from the ring with smiles on their faces.

What a crap segment. What reason does the babyface roster have to want to protect Asuka?
 
She's suppose to be the woman who can't be beaten and so wouldn't it be better to help eliminate her from the roster?
 
She's the main competition to everyone for a title shot, so to look after her against others doesn't make sense.

They are not there to save her. They were there to get revenge on Absolution.

Other than that, yeah, I didn't care for that segment. However I think it still needed to happen to continue the story.

The wrestler mentality should be this woman is unbeaten and the main rival to me getting my hands on the womens title and so I hope she gets laid out.

Or when everyone ran off Absolution someone could have made a name for themselves by taking Asuka out as if to make a statement and show she wasn't saved from a beating for her benefit, but because that person wanted to be the one to take her out.

Now that Asuka has entered the Royal Rumble, I DON'T want her to win it because I want her to win the RAW Women's Championship inside the Elimination Chamber. If Asuka DOES win the Royal Rumble, then Paige should win the title in the Elimination Chamber.
It's over. It's ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL over!

Nia beats Sasha down into the corner, and the heels take control. Alicia tags in and continues the beat down on Sasha. Sasha starts to fight back, but Sonya hits a cheap shot. This leads to an all-our brawl breaking out at ringside, while Sasha and Alicia fight in the ring. Fox misses a big boot, and Sasha follows up with a backstabber and the Banks Statement for the win.

Winners: Asuka, Bayley, Mickie James & Sasha Banks

Shock horror but I liked her on Raw. Loved the bit of attitude to turn on her team mates.
 
I know it's just because the Royal Rumble is on sunday, but I would like it to be a regular occurance.
 
Give her the attitude of i'm only teaming with you because I want to win the match, but I aren't your mate and after we win watch your back.

Asuka won the Women's Royal Rumble last night, so my plan of having her win the RAW Women's Championship at Elimination Chamber has been dashed.

That match tonight between Asuka and Sasha Banks was pretty damned good. That kick to the head while Sasha was doing her suicide dive looked like it literally killed Sasha. I swear that woman is going to have a career shorter than Paige's if she keeps bumping like that.

But then what happens? Asuka throws her in the ring and just beats the shit out of her. The knee to the face the punches and kicks all to the head. Would have sworn that was it, but Sasha fought back and the match just got better and better. Asuka's bump outside looked bad too. Wish like crazy that match had 5 to 10 more minutes because it could have been up there with the very best matches from either.

Regardless the last half of that match was incredible.

EDIT: I want a gif of that kick and bump outside the ring... That's one for the highlight reels.
