The difference is that Asuka is in the highly important (to WWE) women's division, whereas tag team matches are over used and boring and the division and champions mean fuckall these days. And by days I mean the last 15-25 years.

I can't remember not just when but even IF I've seen a good tag team match on the main roster since I started watching again.

Quote Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

According to sources, the reason The Authors of Pain haven’t been on WWE television lately is because one of the two members of the team recently had a visa issue. With that being said, the issues have now been resolved and they are able to return to WWE TV immediately.

WWE’s main focus right now is reportedly on getting “The B Team” and Dolph Ziggler/Drew McIntyre over with the fans as much as possible. The working plan is to bring back The Authors of Pain when they can have more focus put on them. When that happens remains to be seen.

Rookie mistake by E to not check shit like this out before they were originally called up.

It shouldn't matter that time is being used to build two other teams. In a three hour show you can build up a third tag team to be in the title challenger catergory.

Still think they will flop without Ellering. Most of the similar type of big man teams in the past such as Legion Of Doom and Demolition were better with someone talking for them.

They should interfere in the SD title match and take out the BB.

Great way to announce their return as the BB have been poor champions especially when you consider how good the usos were

And if they do that you might as well call time on Sanity ever doing anything in WWE again.

I've heard about 15 different 'reasons' why Authors Of Pain aren't currently on TV. The closest one to the truth is at the bottom of the quote there.

It's WWE's quiet season, where the part timers are gone and they push people who will probably not get a push again. Ziggler/McIntyre are champs in waiting and there's no denying that. Meanwhile the B Team will sink back down again in no time.

I still expect Authors Of Pain vs Ziggler and McIntyre to be built as the top match of the Raw tag division. People just need to learn some damn patience for once. Not everybody needs to be on TV every week. AoP are being given some time away from the spotlight so that they can adapt to the heavier travelling schedule, the new producers, the lack of rehearsal time and cutting promos without Ellering.

It really is probably as simple as that, WWE want them to work on their promos and get used to the larger crowds and the travel before giving them too much exposure on the main roster.

I do agree that removing Ellering was a bad call, he added something to the act and has stated he would be willing to go on the road so not sure why they took him away. Without a mouthpiece they will just appear as a couple of generic big guys, might be better to have them work as faces to put over their power and dominance.

There is only limited time on Raw for the tag division so I do get that the B-Team and McIntyre/Ziggler are the priority right now. As Tom said the push for the B-Team will likely be very short-term, I see them being very much like Slater/Rhyno in that they will have a short mini-push before settling back into their natural home as enhancement talents.
