So Lashley is back in the WWE. I guess this feud with Brock Lesnar will eventually happen.
I'll be honest; even though Lashley is legit tough and very strong he never truly "wowed" me. He is good don't get me wrong; and would surely give Brock or anyone else one fuck of a fight. But to me he fails to stand out amongst all the other big muscular guys that have come down the pike. That's just my take. Still, anyone who beats the crap out of Elias is good by me.

Black Lesnar is back ![]() He's got a legit MMA background, so anytime he loses it should do that person the world of good. I suppose his first fued might be a short lived thing with Elias, culminating at Backlash.

I was quite surprised they didnt have Lashley debut at Mania given the NXT call ups would have made up the surprises of the night.
He could have helped Reigns beat Lesnar giving the crowd something to get behind and also stop Reigns from being booed to oblivion

I'm really glad hes officially returned, I always liked him he had a Goldberg style power and intensity about him, during his first run he suffered because he was pushed too hard too fast, he was green and lacked any kind of promo skills, it was obvious he was being pushed because he had the look and fans realised that, his push was comparable to what is happening with Roman Reigns now. Now though Lashley has spent years honing his craft in TNA and on the indies not to mention his MMA career. Now a more seasoned all round performer I think he can have a much better run, I really enjoyed his stuff in TNA especially his feud with Bobby Roode and his run as a member of the Beatdown Clan. I expect the match with Lesnar to happen this year at some point, maybe Summerslam depending on what happens with the Universal title now. |

I agree. I watch Impact every week (just don't talk about it as nobody else but Baz watches) and he's improved loads in the past ten years.
That makes sense. Says something when he's prefer a full time wrestling schedule, to the steady few fights a year MMA schedule.
He used to have quite a bad reputation, but in his last days in Impact he was a company player doing a fair bit of jobbing.

I would not have wanted interference like that in the WrestleMania main event. I am also glad Lesnar won. Plus, and I know that many will say that Lesnar vs Lashley doesn't need the belt (and I agree,) but if it is supposed to be this big thing it would certainly enhance it.

I wouldn’t be against Lesnar holding the title until Summerslam then losing it to Lashley, at least with the dual-branded PPV shows now if the Universal Champion is absent the World champ can headline.
Lashley looks set for a first feud with Elias where without question Elias will be fed to him to make Lashley look strong. This is fine as Elias’ time will come and his current role in WWE is providing entertainment in the high mid-card with his guitar solo promos and then doing the job for the top talent, effectively a high grade enhancement guy. |

I don't want or expect him to be pushed to the main event scene yet. But I thought he might have cut a promo in the ring.
He could have said it's good to be back home, missed being here, back to become champion etc to explain why he's back after all these years.

Promos are not his forte, any verbal stuff from him should be kept short and sweet.
He does need a real feud to get stuck into though rather than just working random tag-matches. I wonder if he might be a good bet to win the Greatest Royal Rumble putting him in line for a shot at Lesnar? |

I would like to see Lashley join Titus Worldwide, and have Titus be his manager against Brock. The problem with Lashley is that without a manager I just don't see him as a good opponent for Lesnar unless it's on TV, and not at a PPV. Physically they match up well, on paper they match up well, but with neither being good on the mic, the matchup is a dud unless someone else can do the talking for them, THEN the matchup is PPV main event worthy (even if it's not a PPV main event I'd want to see).
