Unfortunately if Lashley wants to feud with the top guys beyond Roman or Cena, he needs a heel turn. Heel Lashley vs Strowman would be great, same with guys like Rollins or Ambrose. Beyond that he's sort of in that gap just after Raw's top tier where you face a sudden drop to Corbin.
Lashley/Wyatt could be good I guess.

Turn heel ? Thought there was no heel or faces now Tom ? We cheer for both and you can't have it both ways

A heel turn would be a good move for Lashley, as Tom said he will always be behind Roman and Strowman(I don’t think Braun’s heel turn if he has actually turned heel will be longterm) in the ranks, plus I think Lashley may find his niche as a heel especially if they give him Heyman as a mouthpiece. Bobby is not a great promo guy and I’m sure he would admit that himself but he is great at looking menacing while someone else could be talking him up, he could chime in with a few short sharp to the point comments to put a stamp on the points of the promo. Effectively he would be booked similar to Lesnar but at least Lashley would be there full-time.
Raw needs a couple more good heels, they are babyface heavy, this is a move that would make sense. |

You're very pedantic, aren't you? Yes, turn heel. Why would you cheer for everyone? |

I was using your words on heel and baby face Tom. Everything changes. There is no right or wrong here. Sorry I struck a cord with you. When most often B list superstars leave or fade out for whatever reason at least they will have had your support and I'm sure that makes them sleep better at night.

I think it’s true there’s no clear face/heel divide like there was in the 80’s/early 90’s, guys like Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and even guys like the B Team blur the lines between heel and face. I like it because matches to me are always better when they are more evenly contested with a cheering section in the crowd for both talents.
Of course there are still some clear cut heels and faces, The Miz for example is definitely heel and Daniel Bryan is without doubt a babyface. |

He's fine as a babyface, he just needs to be kept away from the childish shit. Talking of childish shit........
Another week and another segment that Bobby Lashley should never have been put in.
Maybe management are trying to get him to show more personality, but this isn't the way.

Another terrible segment, Lashley is trying but talking is not his strength so it continues to baffle me as to why they keep putting him in these kinds of segments. I'll give him his due like I said he's trying and he does it all with a smile on his face but it normally comes across as awful and this was no exception.
Thankfully it was saved by Kevin Owens although him quitting last week now doesn't make any sense. |

Bobby had legit emotion from winning a title he's never had the pleasure to hold before.
Now it's a weird situation because an heel is new champion from another heel who will want his rematch, so is Bobby turning face?

I didn't particularly like the arrogant muscle posing and ass smacking, Lashley isn't the most charismatic individual or the biggest personality and he always appears out of his comfort zone doing that kind of stuff, however I understand why they tried it to try and get him some decent heel heat and it does seem to have worked in that regard. Having the irritating Lio Rush doing his verbal work is a good move to get heat also and of course it covers for Lashleys weak promo skills.
Now he's established in a heel role though I think Lashley should get more serious. He has a phenomenal look and serious athletic credentials plus he's the real deal in the ring with a great combination of pure athleticism and power. |
