Quote TNA Knockout and former WWE Diva Christy Hemme recently underwent hernia surgery and is expected to miss six weeks before retuning to the ring. Despite having fulfilled her TNA duties at the last Impact taping in Orlando, she continues to train as a wrestler.

Well it sounds to me like the possibility of a WWE return isn't out of the question now she is no longer under contract to TNA by the sounds of it. I wish her a speedy recovery and it's great that she is so willing to learn to wrestle and make a career in the business. Must have been a really short term contract she had with TNA for it to have run out already. She could without a doubt fill the space Trish has if she was to continue trying.

Hmm....Well, we'll see what happens. If she is out of TNA, it's not beyond the realm of possibilities that she might have to pay her dues for a few years before getting another call up to the majors.

Quote sources: PWInsider.com, www.f4wonline.com

-- Christy Hemme's neck injury actually occurred before the 12/15 Impact taping in Orlando. They got word in the past few days that she wasn't going to be able to wrestle. Hemme's neck injury also explains why didn't appear on last week's Impact (taped on 12/16) to push her title match with Awesome Kong.

* I don't get how they only just knew she couldn't wrestle, when it happened like a month ago.

* Surely she kept management informed of her condition and realised sooner she couldn't compete....

* Did she not get a check up for the pain? That would have shown the injury sooner.

* TNA only have themselves to blame for leaving it so late to take her from the match last night.

Hemme might return to WWE, but she can't be what Trish once was. It took Trish a long time to become a great Diva wrestler, and that's even when she was being pushed! I don't see WWE devoting that kind of time and interest in a female wrestler. No offense meant, ladies! But, WWE doesn't take time to develop good male wrestlers half the time, unless they get some stupid gimmick that gets over with the fans(Finlay being the lovable Irishman, for example). However, she might succeed if she trains really hard, and WWE does decide to devote some time to her...

Quote source: Wrestling Observer Newsletter

-- It was reported last month that Christy Hemme had sustained a neck injury while training in the ring with AJ Styles for her Women's Championship match at the Genesis pay-per-view. As a result, Hemme was unable to compete at Genesis against Awesome Kong. Her injury reportedly require surgery that would have put her out of action for an undetermined length of time. In an update on the situation, the TNA Knockout is already back in action. Hemme wrestled at an indy show this past Saturday in Brampton, Ontario.

* Maybe she should stop practicing in the ring with AJ if she can't handle being there with him.

* I just know that her being back so soon is going to end in tears. I give it about three months tops.

* She shouldn't have taken the easy way out and the next time she gets injured it will be worse still.

* Why anyone would put a job over their longterm health and wellbeing I don't know.

Quote As reported earlier, TNA Knockout Christy Hemme appeared at an indy show this past Saturday in Brampton, Ontario. She actually didn't wrestle on the show as she simply worked as a valet and didn't take any bumps. She posted the following blog on her MySpace account saying she wishes she was healthy enough to return to the ring:

Sorry... wish it was true!!

Hey guys!! So there was an update on my injury that I was back in action and in the ring in Canada... unfortunately not the case booo... I basically did the tango with Curry Man and smacked SoCal Val lol but no bumps, taking turn buckles or getting hit... YET!! On light note, Im bored as hell sittin on my ass but I feel great and it wont be long before I am kickin ASS!!

XOXO Christy

* I did find the report of her wrestling again so soon as odd. I'm glad it's a false report and that she's heeling up properly.

* I've no problems with her appearing at wrestling shows as long as she doesn't take bumps. At least it gives her something to do.

* When she does come back I don't see her slowing down. It will be the same old Christy (hopefully with a few new moves).

I wish I could find the story but Hemme instead of having surgery for her neck injury she did some crazy thing to help relieve pressure. Like the doctor put some rod up her nose and blew a balloon up inside to relieve pressure. It was crazy. I think that she should have just done the surgery. Man I wish I had that story.

-- In regards to Christy Hemme, her status remains unclear. No one has said a word about her and it is unknown how much longer she will be out as she recovers from neck surgery.

* It's nice to know that she's being remembered and still looked after during her injury time out.....

* Maybe they are just leaving her to recover at her own pace. But I find that hard to believe.

* Management should be out of respect having regular contact with her to see how she's getting better.

I hope she comes back. In-ring, she's not very good. But, she's hot as fuck and has an incredible work ethic. I'd love to see her come back with a bang(hopefully it's with me! lol)! I've always been a fan of hers, but readily admit that she doesn't have a very high ceiling, especially now with a neck injury.
