That was Wellness Policy.  And that was a while back.

WWE.com is selling this suspension.  That's a huge red flag that it's all a work.
All props to LoveSongWriter

Quote JBL wrote more online about CM Punk's RAW promo after finally watching it yesterday:

"I haven't watched a wrestling program since well before I left WWE 2+ years ago. Heard about CM Punk's promo and watched it this morning-WOW! That was awesome, as good as I have ever seen. I worked with CM when he first became champ-really enjoyed it and really happy to see what a stud he has become. When you can put doubt as to whether shoot or work-you have done your job very well!"

Maybe this will get JBL more interested in checking out broadcasts now at least for a while.

So right with his last sentence. A shitload of fans still think Punk went into business for himself in a totally unscripted environment, knowing being sacked wouldn't matter as he's leaving anyway.

I don't think The E would have allowed him to say what he did unless they were sure he was staying, or at least coming back after a short break.

Quote Bret Hart wrote the following about CM Punk leaving WWE:

"Can't help but feel like@CMPunk leaving WWE is like Steve Carrell leaving "The Office"

-John Cena wrote the following on Twitter regarding CM Punk's RAW promo:

"CeNation. Headed to australia. Very excited. I feel as if I do not need to comment on raw last night. I think what happened needs no explination."

-For what it's worth, the people at WWE Magazine wrote the following online after Monday's RAW:

"The mood backstage is...edgy, to put it mildly. @CMPunk is in a meeting with a lot of the people he just called out...

Lol, in a meeting with a lot of the people he called out? Sounds like they were celebrating and planning the next move ...

I hate the way Cena always starts his tweets off by saying "CeNation ..." ... shits campy as hell ...

Lol, nice "Office" referance from The Hitman. I'm sure he watches a lot of TV nowadays ...

Former WWE star Colt Cabana was interviewed this week by the Miami Herald and had a lot to say about CM Punk's shoot promo from RAW. Colt says that Punk's rant was almost entirely reality-based and reflected the frustrations Punk has felt in WWE since his first days with the company.

“That whole thing has been building up forever,” Cabana said. “Personally, for almost forever, his whole time there, he is able to say this to me in the comfort of my house or his house.

“From being laughed at by the trainers in Ohio Valley Wrestling to Paul [Heyman] finally bringing him up and everybody treating him like dirt, telling him he has an attitude problem and calling him the ‘King of the Indies.’ Just looking down on him, he just felt shunned his whole time there. It was a complete struggle.”

Many are still under the impression that this angle is a storyline and that Punk will remain with WWE following his contract expiring the day after his title shot at Money In The Bank on 7/17, but Punk has been burnt out for a long time and is at the point where he just wants out.

“The power of him not really caring because he was ready to leave — I always said the power of not giving a s--- is so important,” Cabana said. “He is really at the point where he just wants to get out of there. It’s too frustrating for him. If he said anything that made anybody mad, what are they going to do to him? Not re-sign him? He doesn’t want to be there."

“So I think that idea is so powerful. He is so strong in his beliefs with the straight edge lifestyle. By being how strong headed that he is, he was able to have the power to go out on television and say what probably every other wrestler has wanted to say. He made unbelievable television. He made unbelievable history in wrestling."

Punk may be on his way out of WWE, but Colt thinks his promo from RAW has the potential to change entire industry:

“He almost has the ability to change professional wrestling as we know it. It has been so stagnant and vanilla. It kind of shook up the wrestling world because of his real life frustrations.”

This interview can help with the storyline with Punk

I do wonder now though if Punk is going to win or not this is definatley a match I can see being in the top 3 matches for the night.

lol as if there was ever a chance this was for real.

It was clearly fake from the off, since when do WWE highlight to every other wrestling promotion that Punk is a free agent and can be signed in a few weeks.

If it happens on screen, its a work ...

Maybe shoot aspects are involved, but that's just 2 do its job ... make it seem more real. Punk has a genuine situation and its only right it be taken advantage of from a creative standpoint. WWE does a lot of stupid shit, but this was a homerun ...

The plot thickens as the WWE tours Oz...from ewrestlingnews.
CM Punk's current storyline was continued at Friday's RAW live event in Sydney, Australia. Ring announcer Tony Chimel announced at the start of the show that Punk was suspended by WWE but had agreed to fulfill his contract and appear at the event. Punk trashed the McMahon family, among others, before his mic was cut off once again. He then lost to Rey Mysterio in the show's opening match.
A lot of happy fans here that Punk made it to Oz, only shit was he was doing signings in Melbourne and not in Sydney where I live. We got Santino & Kozlov, and Rey.

Quote Sources within WWE have exclusively revealed that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and Triple H are said to be very angry at talent relations executive John Laurinaitis over his failure to re-sign CM Punk. We have been told the heat on Laurinaitis is serious because this is seen as his second serious failure this year, with the failure to keep Chris Jericho on the roster falling on Laurinaitis’ shoulders as well.

One WWE source says “this is the same job JR had for years, and it’s a heat-magnet because you’re trapped between Vince’s expectations and the talents who want to break away from the brutal schedule.”

Another company source told us “Laurinaitis has made millions in salary and stock options. He’s expected to perform for that money, and produce results. Right now, he’s not getting done the job Vince expects of him!”

Make yr own mind up about this one...I think hes probably already re-signed.
