The Nani one wasn't a red for me, yes his foot was high, but you can see he only had eyes for the ball, and Arbeloa's million rolls didn't help either. That spoiled what was setting up to be an awesome climax to a cracking two legs.
Roy Keane has been bitter towards United since they dumped him and he just refused to listen to anyone else as per usual ![]() Mourinho's interview was strange for a man of his ego, saying the best team lost then walking off, that bloke so wants the Man Utd job when Fergie retires. |

De Jong got a yellow in the WC final for a much worse thing. If you're going to troll, at least do it accurately. Otherwise you're just making things up like lordhhh ![]() |

5/2 enhanced with Hills. You got lucky with those two goals against ten men. As for the sending off definate red for me and that a United legend like Royston Keane can even see it says it all. EVERYONE who watches football is aware you cannot ever under any circumstances have an high foot. Especially not one so high you are booting someone around the lungs area. Could have been hurt much worse. |

he was watching the ball, he had already jumped and put his leg out before the Madrid man even started his jump, and he was watching Nani. nothing to have stopped him from not jumping for it.
Keane may be a United legend, but since he left, and burnt all bridges he has crossed since leaving, he has taken every chance to have a dig, and that was a big one, and hypocritical, considering the style he played with throughout his career.

Actually getting into the football thread no idea why I never have. Real have no hope getting over Bayern and even Juventus with the way they played.

Liverpool only have themselves to blame.
the club has never been in danger of going under like Portsmouth or others, yet the players kept using the excuse that what was happening in the board room was the reason they were playing so badly out on the field, due to the worry and stress. Roman is Chelsea's worst enemy; they can have the most accomplished manager in the world at the helm, and he might still only last there 9-12 months.

I'm talking about the games United had with Chelsea and Liverpool this year in how United won those games on red cards and other terrible calls. I'm not talking about the success of the club as a whole.
The Shelvey red card was bullshit. Cleverly was as much to blame and Liverpool still dominated the rest of the game with 10 men. The Chelsea game was even worse. On Liverpool, our debt seems to be under control now and Rodgers is supposed to be getting heaps in the window. That's no excuse for years past where we have under performed though Rodgers can't be expected to change the entire play style of the team and get results straight away. Kenny's stupid signings have really put us back.

Liverpools debt under control? £8m worth a debt isn't as bad as the Yanks in charge of Man Utd at like £500m or whatever it is, but with the new financial rules.....£8m is screwing you!
