Smith hasn't bowled at all for New South Wales this year he has basically thrown away that part of his game and as a result at the moment he's a batter not good enough for test cricket. White is just bad in general especially his bowing.
At least we will have our top bowling lineup possible by the Ashes with Harris fit. Patinson, Siddle and Harris is a deadly attack but lets not talk about the spinner.

Back on topic... NZXI beat England. If that doesn't tell our selectors that they're shit at doing their jobs I don't know what will. When your first XI get bowled for 45 against South Africa and a month later your second XI beat England comfortably, you fucking suck at picking teams.

Instead of talking in the other cricket thread about a team that made cricket history being the first team to ever declare in the first innings and lose by an innings in test history lets talk about England starting tonight at 21:30
![]() Some of our Super Reds fans have flown out there and some emigrated there so got the flag ready to spot on the coverage......... http://smg.beta.photobucket.com/user/djfattyboy/media/6C5744DC-0048-45E9-8921-822A62487E20-44042-000004ED1AFB5AB1.jpg.html In domestic news I see Jacob Oram has signed on for the 20/20 competition for Worcestershire this summer. |

Going to watch and hour or so after the football. All signs point to an England whitewash but NZ are solid at home so I don't think it'll be totally onesided. It would be nice to see NZs flair players on form so our bowlers get a very good work out for the mother of all years.

Because 10 runs would of really made a difference. I rather Clarke do that than Michael Vaughn tell Ashley Giles to bowl 3 feet outside the off stop every ball with a 8-1 field on the second day of the test match to cut runs down.

Typically shite New Zealand weather stopping us watching the morning session before bed. Nice to see Monty in there in place of Swann which will have surprised many. When play does start England with the bad weather conditions have to fancy themselves getting a few early wickets. |

Swanny is out for the series as he is having elbow surgery. Still even with 4 days we could see a result.

He was on X Factor a few years ago and did a belting version of She Bangs by Ricky Martin that you should check out on You Tube. Only KP didn't throw his wicket away. It wasn't like our batters were getting out to good bowling. Looked to be more English there watching than Kiwis Nice hearing The Great Escape being played in the crowd. |
