No, I actually think this might be true. Remember that article about how Vince McMahon still hates Randy Savage to this day because Savage outsmarted the old man and took Slim Jim with him when he left for WCW? That source pointed out the fact that Vince hates seeing wrestlers leave his company and then no longer depend on his dollar to live. Shawn Michaels left the business financially set for life, at peace emotionally, and with enough of a body left that he can actually enjoy the little things in life without taking all his power just to roll up out of bed. The man can still move, he isn't dependent on Vince's dollar or the wrestling dollar in general at all, and McMahon might be pissed about that because he knows the superstar value reserve on his roster is thinning and he could use Shawn right now except he knows the only time he'll hear from or see of Shawn is family visits with Hunter, special guest one-offs, or calls to tell him when something he does is ridiculous.

Oh I only pray that we dont get these HBK to TNA threads. I truly believe that he has actually called it quits after saying he is going into retirement, unlike guys like, say Flair and Hogan?
HBK ended his career on such a high note, for him to go to TNA is only going to kill that. Flair "retired" at WM, but sure enough, he got back in the ring for TNA, and what did that accomplish? All it accomplished was aiding in what ended up being one of, if not, TNA's worst PPV's of the year. Unlike Flair though, HBK may have some fuel left in the tank, but I doubt he will be using it in the ring. If anything, he may still come back to the WWE and maybe be involved backstage, if these rumors are not true. If these rumors are true, then I say he wont be going to TNA and just staying home and supporting his family, like he should do.

Hes not going to TNA, he shouldnt if he is done with wrestling. Vince can suck his own dick, he thinks he can tell people when they are done and when they are not. I mean he did it to Hogan, so he wants to do it to everyone. Fuck Vince and his bitch as. HBK can go make a fuck Vince club with Macho Man. They are better than him anyways.

Yeah I can see Vince being pissed off because Shawn quit before Vince wanted him too, I think its just ridiculous how Vince expects Shawn to have continued when in fact it was known Shawn was suffering.

People keep saying how Hogan and Flair didn't go to retirement but you forget Bret Hart didn't he retire also? As for HBK well he doesn't really need to be mentioned on TV cause those little brats only care for Cena and HBK fans will remember him on their own I'm sure
on the other hand this is Dave Meltzer? Edited by legendkiller - 23/July/2010 at 11:06 |

In my best Dan Aykroyd voice, "Vince, you ignorant slut!"
Throughout his amazing career, Shawn has never been afraid to tell Vince exactly what he felt. And when he felt Vince was making a mistake, he has always been, shall we say "standoff-ish" about his point of view? I noticed on Monday, that the opening credits to RAW had changed again and I did not notice HBK on them like I usually do. If this is true, I'm sure it stems from HBK being pissed about Bryan Danielson and his release, because it is utter bullshit. And HBK would have no qualms about telling Vince either. Surely to God, if Hunter gets wind of this he'll stick up for Shawn and tell Vince how petty he is being. I know the dude is his son and law, but the two founding DX members have a bond that I believe runs very, very deep. Why can't Vince be happy for Shawn? Why can't he, like the rest of us be glad that he retired at the top of his game, instead of becoming another pathetic wrestling cliche like Flair? That ungrateful prick! After everything they have been through and after everything Shawn risked for that company, for him to turn around and treat him like "just another piece of Vince's property", is so wrong. If this is true, if we find out that he's keeping him out of the HOF for this, I will never watch WWE again, that much I can assure you. Now maybe this isn't even true, in that case, this entire rant is a bit superfluous really. But if it is true,....oh man. But I have to disagree with legendkiller, HBK is very much a huge star in this business that very much gets a very big reaction from the WWE crowd, no matter the city. I know there are those "rats" in the crowd, but there is also many, many fans who attend WWE events who loved every second that HBK was in that ring. Let's not forget how much merch DX has moved since their 2006 reunion, another reason that Vince should do the right thing and fuck right off! |

1) Vince will realise that Shawn's health isn't great and that he's 45.
2) Vince will know that Shawn will never ever go to TNA.
3) Vince knows how loyal Shawn is to have come back from his back problems.
I don't see why they would be problems between them.

The 'problems' were stemming from Danielson's release apparently.
It was clearly bullshit anyway, glad to have squashed another rumour. |
