Quote TMZ is reporting the following:

"WWE star Jack Swagger was arrested last night in Mississippi, TMZ has learned -- after allegedly committing several traffic offenses.

Source close to the situation tell TMZ, Swagger was leaving a "Smackdown" taping at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi when he was pulled over.

It's unclear what traffic offenses Swagger is accused of committing ... but they were serious enough to result in an arrest.

We're told Swagger -- a former WWE World Heavyweight champ -- was taken in by local sheriff's deputies ... and later released on his own recognizance.

We reached out to WWE, who tells TMZ, "Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions.""

I'm calling reverse racial profiling.

And I think that's exactly what he should say on WWE.

"Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions."
Ouch... that doesn't bode well for Swagger. I mean, there's a sizable chance that's being taken out of context, but even so that doesn't sound like the kind of thing you want your company to say when you've just been arrested. Instead of saying something like "it was a mistake, and we hope he's learned his lesson" or some BS kind of PC answer they could have given to defend him, it sounds like they're just throwing him under the bus.

RVD lost his straps for less.

Big who cares anyway, pretty sure they can find someone else to lose to Del Rio in the opening match of Mania.

TMZ has updated their story: http://www.tmz.com/2013/02/20/wwe-star-jack-swagger-arrested-wwe-tv-taping-traffic-violations/

I still think that he and Zeb Coulter should vaguely mention this. Say something about how they're getting harassed for speaking the "truth" about being Real Americans.

Real Americans don't inhale, though, surely?

will be very surprised if he actually gets released. probably will work out okay for him in the end, after all, they dropped the ball with him last time, this surely gets him out of having that same problem this time.

I don't think he'll get released. He didn't get picked up for anything worse than what happens to the majority of guys in FCW/developmental.

The worst thing that will happen to him is that his chance at winning the WHC will go out the window. Which I'm fine with. I don't think he's really to win it anyway.

Wth Swag starting to get mainstream attention for his character, I think WWE will back away completely from acknowledging anything regarding the arrest.
