yeah, we know at the Rumble that it'll be Punk or Cena defending against the Rock.
if they want fresh opposition for him at Mania, he would have to lose the Rumble match, and then the problem becomes how to build up a feud worthy of the Rock for Mania.
Unlike Taker, who has several names that could step into the ring with him, Rock only has, as of right now, Punk or Cena. i don't think they'd go for a Mania being built on two part-timers, which is why i'm not counting Lesnar.
again, i feel they've booked themselves into a corner.
outside possibility for Bryan, but since they didn't seem to know what to do with him around Summer Slam, with the Rock digs and Sheen thing, i think they've forgotten about that.
though, of course, if it's Rock Punk at the Rumble, i could see Bryan coming in and costing Rock the title and the build happening from there if there's any sort of long term planning still in WWE.

Another pointless and stupid Rock promo that wasted time. Why do we need to know the daily temp in Panama for?

Lawler complained about Cena interupting even though as Cole pointed out it was supposed to be a debate.

All I got from the segment is both guys think they are more passionate for the other. Rather dull if you ask me.

much better promo than last year. Cena could have come out earlier, i agree Rock's promo while out there alone was pointless, but i do think i know what he was trying to get at.
 
Cena was so close to actually being good this week, then made the "imma eat his children" joke in the Tyson voice, and just killed it dead. until then, both guys have kept it pretty straight and true. Rock's reply, with the Lance Armstrong quote was awesome, purely because it wasn't played purely for laughs.

I hate to block a serious discussion sorry for that but we should all take a look at this, do we really need someone like this who shames himself and shame the wrestling like the rock, WWE must strip the title or cena should win at mania and the rock should leave forever. 


People like Triple H who gave example of being a champion and never did idiotic stuffs like this, triple h deserves more than the rock, i hope cena wins and then fights hhh where hhh takes the wwe champion and proves why he is the real champin of the wwe

Cause a guy who doesn't take himself too seriously is a really bad thing. He should be a total mark for himself and never allow himself to look weak... like someone else I might mention.

yeah, thank God HHH has never dressed up like a complete dick, or done anything equally as embarassing, especially on WWE television...

Lots of positives this week like......

1) The Rock and Cena not being around for overkill.
2) Being able to wind on the above video on Sky Plus so I could get Raw finished quicker.
3) No stupid Rock promo telling us about the weather, what he had for breakie etc.

This is the lateness video package released by WWE early this week hyping up the WWE Championship Match, where The Rock will once again face John Cena at WrestleMania, but with the most coveted Title in all of Sports-Entertainment up for grabs! 

Have to admit, this was a pretty awesome promo! The background song entitled Letters to the Sky by Civil Twilight is a very good and is in one my top build up themes of all time (see Bragging Right 2009: Orton/Cena).

Anyway, alot of this for some reason reminded me of the Austin/Rock promo going into WrestleMania X-Seven in 2001. Alot had to revolve around Stone Cold doing anything you could to capture the gold and he did just that by signing over the deed to his sole to the Devil himself, Mr. McMahon! I know I might be taking to much out of this, but to be honest, its got me thinking; Is it time for the heel turn of the century to take place?

I liked that video - infact that video alone has got me more interested in that match than the whole years build up last years match did ... im looking forward to mania quite alot this year
