So on Smackdown they said he missed the show because of the weather, but dirt sheets are saying there was another reason, but never said what it was.

I found it odd that knowing for days that bad snow was coming, that a Canadian (home of regular shocking snow) would be enough of a rookie to not make the show, so I think this other reason when it comes out will be the genuine reason.

If he's not on Smackdown or 205 Live tomorrow night it would be fair to assume it was the snow reason and he's correctly being punished for being unprofessional.

So whatever happened to this guy anyway? I heard they weren't renewing his contract, but what were the reasons given and why isn't he commentating now?

He missed a week of Smackdown and people were told it was because of snow.

He then missed the following week and the announcers said he was ill.

Then he's not been mentioned since and it appears his bi polar was getting him down and he took offence to JBL apparently bullying him.

He's removed anything WWE related from his Twitter and unfollowed many people too.

He's had a few digs at JBL and WWE on his Twitter and won't be back before his contract runs out in the summer.

A few wrestlers from the past have called him an oversensitive pussy, said ribbing his part of the business and that it's gone all too PC and grown men in the business should be thicker skinned.

Huh, didn't know he was bi polar. Was that disclosed when he was hired? A guy like that doing a job like his should probably be left alone to just do his job like a professional and not get dragged into the muck of wwes commentating.

He brought a level of professionalism I'm going to miss. Call the match, name the move for what it is, stop bullshitting us with lines like "Oh Paige calls that scorpion cross lock the Paige Tap Out, or PTO for short." No she doesn't! No one is stupid enough to do that, except Vince! Mauro disposed of the idiot names and acted like a professional.

People with Bi Polar disorder are pussies medically. Leave them alone and they'll be fine. My sister is bi polar and she is perfectly fine up until she is not then he gets into a funk for a bit, and then snaps out of it and everything is fine again. But the last thing you want to do is kick someone like that when they are down.

Mauro's issues are well documented...literally...in a documentary.

Mauro IS indeed a professional when it comes making calls. That's why he's one of the go to guys for boxing and MMA. Dude knows how to bring the fight night vibe to the table and Smackdown Live was better off for having him there.
