Time to laugh at the ROH-Bots who put ROH on the pedistal because they dont hire "wwe rejects" or guys with personal problems.

Quote Matt Hardy announced via Twitter that he will appear at the Ring of Honor Death Before Dishnor online pay-per-view. "I'll be doing a signing and have FULL access to the locker room and talent," Hardy wrote. "Extremely interested in one match."

Hahahahaha, good for Matt Hardy. He'll go from IWC Pariah to IWC hero in a matter of days now that he'll at teh very least be affiliated with ROH.

Looks like ROH has their own "meth" Hardy.

Poor ROH-bots, their amazing promotion is at the very least doing business with perhaps a man with the most personal problems in wrestling

They need to sign Teddy Hart so that they can book Matt Hardy and Teddy Hart in a "Please Kill Each Other" Crack Fight. That would put asses in the seats.

What Matt Hardy should have said in his tweet is that ''Ive screwed up my life so badly that the only wrestling promotion that will touch me with a barge-pole is Ring Of Losers, so I'll see you there.''

ROH has always been a low-budget bingo hall promotion with a roster of vanilla midgets, but they did turn out at least a handful of decent talents in Styles, Punk, McGuinness, Joe and Bryan, but now they just seem to be the last resort for rejects that can't get work in WWE or TNA.

what a waste of news space...LOL
if the ROH-bots really go on about ROH not taking WWE-rejects, how do they explain Haas and Benjamin being in the promotion?
hear he's gonna showcase him new finisher, the grape belly flop.

He isn't scheduled to wrestle. He's doing the pre-show meet & greet. (Now the ROH-bots can get an autograph of a wrestler with name recognition.) ROH's website says Hardy is going to join commentary for 1 match.

I thought Jeff was Meth.  Matt was Fatt Hardy.

Matt Hardy worked for ROH in 2005. I think he only did 3 or 4 shows. This is his "return" to ROH. So don't expect the ROH-bots to get too upset.

Matt Hardy has been making a ton of 1 off appearances. Including companies way smaller than ROH. I tend to think of it as being the wrestling version of "community service." Instead of picking up roadside trash or cleaning bus-station bathrooms, Matt has to make appearances in the wrestling wastelands.

Actually it seems like they are booking him as a main eventer IMO.

Firstly, holy no charisma on the mic, Batman. Secondly, how much of a slob is Kevin Steen, seriously. This is the companys top star, yet he looks like a woman beating hick with counterfeit Cena merch on. I guess the fat virgin fans can relate to both of these losers though, especially Matt who got bullied by Edge and got his gf took off him.

This show looks like it was taped in a warehouse and I think I counted 50 seats which they prol didn't sell out.

Remember guys, ROH is the future of wrestling

When did I say he wasn't appearing? I just pointed out that ROH wasn't advertising him as wrestling. They're saying he'll be on commentary. Which I know is code for he's gonna get involved. (And ROH's next iPPV is in October sometime.)

Willy, you should be overjoyed that Matt is doing business with ROH. It insures that he won't be showing up in TNA as part of Aces & 8s.

If anyone is looking for another reason to mock ROH on this... guess what? Matt Hardy vs. Kevin Steen wasn't even ROH's idea. Nope, a month ago they announced a match in North Carolina's PWX set for this October. So ROH is sliding in and hijacking an angle from a tiny regional promotion.

Adam Cole d. Mike Mondo to retain the ROH TV Title. Matt Hardy's interaction came with the TV title match. He was on commentary for the entire match. Post match, Hardy put over the match and fans booed. He said believes in the Code of Honor and shook Mondo’s hand. He shook Cole’s hand and said that many people over the last three months have compared Cole to a young Matt Hardy. He said he was better than Cole when he was his age, and added that he’s better than him now. So, Hardy was leaning heel heading to an inevitable match against Cole.

That's right folks. Matt Hardy, the guy with the most name recognition to appear at the show... and he's being set up to challenge for the company's #2 title.

Nice "poo" references, John.

But I do agree. 17 rotation moonsaults and 9 million handshakes aren't what's good about wrestling.

Matt Hardly fuckin' sucks .. there i said it

He rode Jeff to the top in WWE and when he became a singles competitor he really garnered no interest from the fans. Including this one. What a fat, out of shape piece of crap. He cant talk and looks so off balance in the ring its not even funny. Hes just a rotund waste of space. Its obvious where all the talent in that family went.

Its called a gym Matt. Ever heard of one? Geez, get a membership.

Matt Hardy brand my ass ..

Ive been having some fun with his videos on youtube. Calling him a fat loser, saying hes a no talent hack. You know, things of that nature. Just pure hate. Because thats what i have for this dunce.

He should stay in ROH and never show his weasel face in the big times again

I can't stand Matt Hardy 3.0, but he wasn't always bad. In fact from around 1999-2004 I would've been dead set on saying Matt Hardy was the better of the two in terms of actual wrestling psychology and building / working a match. Jeff was always good for a big spot, but Matt could really haul the workcart in terms of selling for the heel heat and just generally carrying the technicalities of the match. And to me he was one of my favorites around 2007 and for a while afterwards when he was feuding with MVP. That was one of my favorite feuds of any 2000s WWE.

But ever since after his heel turn and subsequent match with Jeff at Wrestlemania whatever he seriously fizzled out. It was just ridiculous. He had the wannabe Edge jacket and got bloated and slow. Then when WWE stopped paying attention to him, he bitched. Then he got fired. And everyone knows the story from there.

If he ever really got dedicated and proved to everyone that he had finally fixed himself (hard to believe, it would have happened so many times) then he might could get back to maybe Christian's level right now. But his best times are way behind him.

I know it's not saying much from our vantage point. But it is when you consider that from HIS vantage point it's either WWE/Christian level... or making his own YouTube videos walking backstage to find Kevin Steen at an ROH show to promote a match between them at an upcoming indy card, not even on the ROH show...

That Christian level contract would smell like roses if that were me.

This is true. It would be a big step up for him, but i dont think he even deserves to be on that level.

He isnt nearly as dedicated to the sport as Jeff is and he never kept himself in great physical shape. I always hated him. Even as a Hardy, i just always had a thing for him.

He just never appealed to me my uce....

I was watching a promo he cut on AJ Styles on Impact from a long time ago with Ric Flair backing him up. It was brutal. Maybe one of the worst promos I've seen since Chris Masters interrupted Shawn Michaels the night after Summerslam 2005.

I've tried to block out all of the "Cena vs The Rock" storyline from my memory. It was god awful.

Matt Hardy is gone. He should really retire and move one with life. No one cares about him anymore. Jeff Hardy is still mainstream, because he knew when to stop his demons from taking over.

Quote Ring of Honor announced on Monday that former WWE/TNA star Matt Hardy will get a shot at ROH gold at the company's upcoming Final Battle iPPV on 12/16. Matt Hardy will challenge ROH TV Champion Adam Cole at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. The main event will see ROH World Champion Kevin Steen defending against El Generico in a Ladder War match. For more information, visit ROHWrestling.com.

The ROH website says this is a non-title match. Although the dirt sheets are saying otherwise. This match is getting second billing below the main event.

The laughs don't stop there. On ROH's website the picture they used for Hardy is an old WWE publicity shot.

He's facing Shane Douglas on some ECW resurrection card too (more like an AA group session at this stage), safe to say he's not entirely in demand at the moment.

Of course, ROH blows and will prol make him world champ within 6 months.

i seriously doubt it, since he's only challenging their Television champion, so even on the third tier promotion in North America, they won't let him anywhere near their top title.

perhaps he should just create his own promo again, he's already got the main event for it's first card sorted for the title match: Matt Hardy v the Ghost.

I told y'all (well maybe not here per say but the internet wresling folks) that TNA pushing "wwe rejects" was Cornette's doing and not Russo's or Dixie's doing.

The "wwe rejects" really havent been pushed all that much since Cornette's ouster in 2009 unless you consider legends and all time greats like Team 3D, Kurt Angle, RVD and Jeff Hardy "wwe rejects"

nah, TNA still do it the odd time; the current angle with Hogan and Morgan, a show a couple of months back where, because RVD was challenging Roode for the title on IW, it became the RVD show, Ken Anderson still being employedLOL

looking back on it, i do think i was a bit harsh, after all, if you get someone in who is a big name, then of course push them, though i do feel it was sometimes done to the detriment of the talent TNA already had.

if anything, Hogan coming in and trying to get Hall and Waltman, The Nasty Boys, Sean Morley and others that had been part of the Hulkamania Australia tour over the TNA talent was far worse than anything Cornette did by pushing what he thought would bring in the viewers, it's just it lasted much longer than what Hogan tried.

I don't know man, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair got a WHOLE bunch of screen time 2010/ a little bit of 2011. At that point when Jeff Hardy got his first "Immortal" push into World Champ he was a WWE reject because he literally got released from WWE, and if that hadn't happened I seriously doubt that he'd still be in TNA.

I don't count someone as a "reject" by their level of talent, but rather their commitment/ loyalty to the show, and I didn't feel a sense of "I'm for TNA, not for TNA's money" from Jeff Hardy until he came back from the Victory Road incident, and I only felt that because he literally had no other option but to sober up and get back on track.

I think they've done much better for the past year or so to get away from that stigma, but they WERE bad about it for a while.

See I covered myself with RVD with the he is an all-time great Tongue

Morgan surely is a TNA guy now, dude's been there for like 6 years now so Tongue

Anderson is a guy wwe stupidly fired because he had all the tools to be a star in wwe and now he is a star in TNA which is perfectly acceptable. You cant call misused ex-wwe talent a "wwe reject" when the guy has talent. Tongue

BTW that ^^^^ comment eliminates DOC aka Luke Gallows from being mentioned so Tongue

Think I covered my bases pretty well dont ya think LOL

edit: Fuck HBK posted something so I gots to answer it: Hogan and Flair are legends and are covered on my original post of legends and all-time greats so Tongue to you too HBK.
