One of the highlights of Impact, who in his nutty persona I see as a younger replacement of what Eric Young did when he was an heel there.

He's only just reached 30 years old and he's got to be a guy they are looking to keep around for years to come, if they can.

Reading his Wikipedia page I wasn't aware he's high up in CZW. That explains why he's so good as a crazy guy, when he works for a crazy company.

It's a shame WWE dropped the ball on him with his stupid NXT gimmicks as he does offer something different and is young enough to have a varied role.

Looking forward to the House of Hardcore match at Redemption.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I'm a big Sami Callihan fan. Always have been. So I'm going to give a compliment sandwich.

Compliments: WWE totally dropped the ball on him. He could have been amazing. Hell, SAnitY was his idea! He could have also made that stupid hacker gimmick work if he would have done an Anonymous rip-off, but they just really dropped the ball on him. I'd have LOVED to see him vs. Pete Dunne! He's been all over the world, tearing stuff up, impressing, and doin' that work (son!) since day one. I also love the fact that he's from the Dayton area (where I lived for like 10 years).

Negatives: It seems like he has a 'tude. I get it that he feels "passed up" and "overlooked," but damn. Having a chip on your shoulder only works as a character. When you're in the ring, wrestle with a chip on your shoulder. Outside the ring, but the guy everyone wants to get to know. He seems a little too high on himself. Another negative is he's getting too much heat for being reckless. First, it was Eddie Edwards. Then it was Kevin Sullivan. Arguments can be made FOR Sami (a tad) in those cases, but it's a terrible look for him. He needs to chill out and be smarter. Until now, he's NEVER been known for being reckless in the ring!

Final compliments: He's turning negatives into positives. Even though he's been "cast-off" (so to speak) in Impact, he's gotten press and made it work for him. He's also been teamed back up with his brothers from other mothers, the Crist brothers (they used to be Ohio Is 4 Killers together in the indies). And even when things go wrong for him (or others he's with) in the ring, he plays it off perfectly as a heel in public, with the "IDGAF about them" attitude. That's so old school and I love it! He's got a great look, character, etc. and he's great in the ring! With this new seeming resurgence of Impact, I hope he gets the recognition he deserves and possible becomes Impact Heavyweight Champion.

He continues to be brilliant. It's so easy to buy into him being a total nut job who you wouldn't want to disturb if he was walking the street even when out of character LOL

Hope he gets another chance with E. I haven't seen much NXT so don't know his time there.

I hope his reputation away from the ring isn't true or it's going to stop him reaching his potential and making as much money as he could.
