-- This past week, Santino Marella sent a check in the form of $500 to his former stomping grounds, Ohio Valley Wrestling. He also left a note that read "Thinking of you." It's the second check Marella's sent to OVW since his call-up to WWE.com.

* This was a nice gesture for him to do. It's not a lot of money, but it will make a difference to them now they have lost their WWE developmental deal.

* He's not forgot his roots and after winning the IC title for a second time, he's obviously thankful of what was done for him in the past.

* He's probably still in touch with many of the people working down there in whatever capacity they are in.

* If he carries on making good money, he will probably keep sending them sums of cash. Maybe even more than already.

I wonder if Batista, Orton and Cena, who were helped a lot in OVW and obviously earn more than Santino, will follow suit? I doubt it.

Love the fact that Santonio… I mean, Santino would do this for his OVW peeps. Shows much, much consideration for where he came from… very unlike a certain on-screen girlfriend of his.

She wouldn't be allowed to set foot in the door, but he would be approved fully when it comes to entry in the Palace of Wisdom. (If I was the master of it, that is. Too bad that's up to Johnny instead.)

Wow that's very thoughtful of him. Suprised none of the other wrestlers who were in OVW do that. But it shows that he's appriciative
