Snooker is simple........

Reds: 1 point.
Yellow: 2 points.
Green: 3 points.
Brown: 4 points.
Blue: 5 points.
Pink: 6 points.
Black: 7 points.

Pot a red then another colour, then red, then colour 15 times. Then go through the remaining colours from yellow to black and it adds up to 147. The maximium break is a joy to watch whenever it's done. Best break i've managed is 33, but I was on a 147 having potted my 5th red before missing the 5th black LOL

Exactly, you have to pot a red before you pot a color... and then, the color goes... back to it's place on the table... Then you have to score ANOTHER red, before you can score another color, after which it goes BACK onto the board...

Clear as mud, bruv.

Oh, and DZ, yeah billiards "across the pond" is different I guess. I think of 8-ball as billiards, so maybe I'm wrong. Either way, English billiards is indeed shitty and convoluted, too.

Not sure what Raven plays, so I expect to catch some heat from him LOL

I play 8-Ball bro (5th at the Junior Nationals last week, knocked out the defending champ, hells yes), and World Rules (or Two-Shot rules) 8-Ball is shitty and weaksauce, we have mad awesome rules here, it's just hard to pick up.

And yeah, Snooker is simple as, but it's fucking hard.

Stephen Hendry has retired from snooker after suffering a 13-2 defeat to fellow Scot Stephen Maguire. Hendry is without a doubt the best player to ever grace the game, 7 world championships says the lot.

Worth a bump as two weeks tonight I will be at the first Home Nations final Big smile

Welsh Open in capital of Cardiff, Northern Ireland Open in the capital Belfast, Scottish Open in the big city of Glasgow and the English Open that starts a week on monday in Barnsley LOL

70k for the winner and a million pound bonus for winning all four home nation events, so with it being the first one every top player has entered, whilst with the others some might pick and choose.
