The Divine Playthrough Series

In light of MH's gaming thread, I've decided to make my own. First up is Resident Evil 5 on the PC. Of course, instead of Chris and Sheva, you have Wesker and Jill! Enjoy!

Here are the following mods:

Chris Redfield to Albert Wesker (Midnight Version - No Shades)
Sheva Alomar to Jill Valentine (BSAA Version)
M92F to Wesker's Samurai Edge
Chris' Knife to Wesker's Knife
Sheva's Knife to Jill's Knife
HUD to No HUD/No Crosshair during Chapter 2-3
Original Palette Background to Color Enhancer

You can actually place Chris in for the cutscenes where Wesker originally was, but I'm not sure about actual gameplay. I think Sheva actually crashes since her and Jill have different facial models. Its the reason why you see Jill have no jaw movements when you swap over Sheva. You could keep the facial movements, but its just Sheva wearing Jill's clothing, has an ugly jawline and white skin. I'm not sure if Jill to Excella would work either as I've never seen a release for it.

Speaking of Excella, unfortunately she has no head model for gameplay. You just see her from the neck down and causes major crashes. If the DLC comes to the PC, then they'd have a chance to successfully place her in there. It's funny though, you can actually play as Irving and Allyson, but not Excella. I think the developers did this on purpose to prevent Excella from being used.

Yeah, I'm sure they'll get it to work. The major problem is that Capcom really did everything they could to get these mods not to work.

For example: Wesker's Mustang Kick (when you stand behind an enemy while they're on their knees) does not make a connection. You'll notice I never do it because it has no hit counter.  Also, Chris's voice and melee voices will pop up from time to time in chapters like 3-2 or 4-1.

Allyson is the blonde-haired girl in distress that you meet in Chapter 1-2. She actually got her name from an online blog from Capcom. Her boyfriend's name was Adam and he was mentioning the downfall of Kijuju and Allyson's disappearance.

Thank you, Steve! Glad you liked it. I recommend picking up the Gold Edition as it will include all the extra features like Lost In Nightmares, Mercs Reunion and Desperate Escape. Just know that modding only works on the PC, so the only time you play as Wesker is for Mercs, Mercs Reunion and Versus, and Jill is in everything except the main story mode.

I'm actually working on getting the current vids uploaded onto an HD format. My laptop runs the 1080 format beautifully so I guess my PC just isn't quite powerful enough for it or it has too much crap on it that's slowing it down, lol.

I currently have up to Chapter 3-3 recorded, but I'm creating Chapter 2-1 again to the HD format so I'm probably not going to have 2-2 up until tomorrow or Sunday. I'll also be uploading a video of little Easter Eggs and Jill and Wesker standing idle.
