The ECW memory is still around, but it lives in the originals and in CZW. ECW has nothing to do with WWE/ECW... that fake title is a joke. That last ECW champ is and forever will be The War Machine RHYNO. Not Christian, or who ever has the fake title last, PERIOD.

CZW has some stuff that I watch on youtube and marvel at, but I would never watch an entire CZW show. 80% of that stuff is just awful.

80% of that awful stuff you speak of, is NON ULTRA VIOLENT. And 80% of what you speak of is guys you have come to love starting there. Chris Hero, Christopher Daniels, "The last of a dying breed" Eddie Kingston, A.J Styles, CC, etc etc etc... CZW is alot like ECW in a lot of ways the only thing is CZW takes it a step further. People think CZW they think weed wackers, flaming tables and just blood for the sake. No real wrestling. Well, I got news, on a 8-9 match card only 2 matches are Ultra violent. And thats even at CZW biggest show of the year Cage of Death... So just sayin...

Nothing will ever compare to ECW, I dont care if you're a fan of CZW, of IWA Mid-South, of XPW or whatever, nothing will ever compare to what ECW meant to the world of wrestling. Before all of those "wanna-be" ECW feds, ECW changed the face of this business, especially when both WWE and WCW didnt have a clue that fans werent interested in the crappy kid friendly characters, when ECW came along they changed this business.
CZW yes is ultra violent in some matches and in other matches they may actually have an ok match now and again, but thats the same with EC fucking W. CZW is nothing like ECW, it doesnt have the following like ECW had and it never will. Same with IWA Mid-South, same with the now defunct XPW and same with many other "hardcore" indy feds, they only went "hardcore" because ECW did and ECW done it way better than any of the other companies following them have done.
