Well I guess this puts paid to the rumour of Vince not being a fan of theirs. They have been much better since the face turn and get good reactions like big men generally do from fans. The thing they have to work on more now is promos, because as champions they will be expected to talk more.

This was daft but I can understand WWE want these two to show some more personality. They are impressive in the ring but I can see them going the same route as the Revival in that ring work can only get them so far and if they don't show that extra something special to really get over then they will never advance past the treading water part of the card. Top teams like New Day and the Usos have all connected with the audience through their charisma and personalities, so far the Viking Raiders have just shown that are two big guys who can work a good match and have a obsession with Vikings, we need more than that.

The segment between them and the street profits was one of the worst things I've seen in recent memory
No wonder the revival wanted out I think the raiders will be next to request their release because they are a legitimate badass awesome tag team and are being ruined week in week out

I listened to the Revival on the Jericho podcast and it made me have a ton of respect for these two guys. They never bad mouthed WWE they seemed humble and very grateful for their time there, they even defended the horrible looking comedy gimmick Vince wanted to give them. They stated that the reason they left was because they didn't care about tag title reigns they just knew that WWE would never take tag team wrestling seriously and the titles really meant nothing. They want to work somewhere where tag wrestling is legit and seen as being as important as singles wrestling. Old school workhorse teams just don't really work in WWE, teams like the Usos, New Day and Miz/Morrison are very character based and are more suited to the environment but these teams could easily break off into singles roles, teams like the Revival and the Raiders are proper teams where one doesn't work without the other. It's a shame but I don't see anything changing any time soon.
