But because it was a famous wrestler it makes a difference to some people? I'll call bullshit all day.

By the way, more food for thought. This was methodical. He killed his wife, then killed his son, hung them up by their neck with gym equipment, and placed Bibles underneath their bodies. He didn't just tear into them like a rabid wolverine, he choked the shit out of them until they were dead and displayed for anyone to find. Poor old Chris, right?

That's my personal thoughts on it exactly.

What Russ said. I don't really give a shit what mental condition he was suffering from, I don't give a shit how diminished his responsibility may have been (and given the way he killed them, the length of time between the murders and suicide etc., it would be hard to say he didn't at least have moments of clarity where he could have done something other than wait until he killed his son/himself), he killed two people. One of whom was a disabled child. That shit isn't on, full stop. His mental state (which is arguable) doesn't matter. WWE's level of responsibility doesn't matter. Those are not the actions of a man that should be publicised in any way.

The thing is, I don't think WWE agrees. I think that at the very least they believe enough people out there think they are partly responsible and THAT is why they are censoring him, not for any other reason.

Oh absolutely. They think people believe that WWE put a figurative gun to his head and told him to wipe his family off the planet.

Because, ridiculous as it is, they're right. People do think it's that clear cut. "It's not Benoit's fault! He went nuts! It's all WWE's fault!"

I don't care what kind of reasons they have to censor his ass, they are right. Don't celebrate anything about his "accomplishments" in life.

You forget about the best group, the "I can't believe Benoit could do this. No really, I think somebody else framed him" group. Mr. Member was in this group, and it was one of the many reasons he was one of the worst posters ever to curse us with his presence here.

K, so, you thought the guy was a really good wrestler. You're right. You didn't know him as a person, maybe he'd been a massive dick or an aggressive person all his life. He killed two people. There are no excuses.

I could actually buy into the whole "Benoit murder was a conspiracy" gimmick.

If my IQ was lower than my age, that is.

Oh, have you heard this one! There are even rumours going around that Kevin Sullivan did it because of the whole real life feud they had over 'Woman' back in the day around 1995. Yeah, it was a big conspiracy set up by the Task Master and The Dungeon of Doom!

Seriously? I mean come on...

Kevin Sullivan and Benoit legit hated each other. The only plausible suspect under those terms. Plus he's a satanist so the Bibles would be a message. But it's still a load of crap.

Btw fuck Kevin Sullivan to. Like, who the fuck is that guy?

Apparently he was the bizzaro Hulk Hogan. Little, fat, looked pretty much the same otherwise though, and evil like a little gremlin. He was by far the worst thing I ever saw on WCW Monday Nitro pre-2000.
