I would rather he had just invested money in TNA like had been rumoured in the past, history shows that bringing inexperienced people in to creative roles especially those who's only wrestling background is as a fan, does not bring good results, usually quite the opposite.

TNA should take a page out of Lucha Underground's book and produce a edgy TV programme that features wrestling, that's a interesting and fresh format and if it wasn't for the fact Lucha came across so low budget I'd be watching that full-time.

One thing is for sure something needs to be done with TNA, financial problems continue and it's now rumoured Destination America are already talking of pulling the plug after ratings have started dropping and the additional programming TNA have provided has all tanked.

I am currently listening to Corgan's interview on Talk is Jericho, and I gotta say, he's changing my mind about him. Maybe the interviews I've seen and read in the past he was just on drugs, and now he's clean? I don't know. But whatever the case he sounds quite intelligent and makes it seem as though he's going to be a very good producer and character developer.

Not only is he talking shop with a very high level of education, but he's also showing me that this isn't just a new thing for him either. I mean, I knew he was a long time fan, but I didn't realize he was involved in ECW in 1999 got his thumb broken and concussed in the ring. I knew he worked for an indy promotion in Chicago, but I didn't realize to what level he worked with it. He was the only booker in that indy promotion.

Chris Jericho has called him the reverse Jericho, in that he made it as a mega star in Rock, and now he's starting over and working full-bore as a wrestling producer.

If you're a TNA fan, Fletch, Della, etc. I would give this interview a listen. Corgan has won me over. If I could watch TNA that gets film post this weekend when Corgan officially starts his job, I would do so, just to see how he changes things.

But I don't get Destination America.

I hope he can make a difference but trouble is latest reports circling are now saying that TNA have cancelled a tour of China due to issues with the finances at only two weeks notice and that morale among talent is again at a all time low because they were told to keep the time free to work the tour and now have only two weeks to secure bookings elsewhere.
My interest in TNA is very much hanging by a thread at this point, its only because I like guys like ECIII, Bram, Aries and Lashley that I keep watching.

Jeff Jarrett's GFW have announced their roster for upcoming tv shows(to be honest the roster is incredibly weak and they look doomed to fail), at one point Jarrett and Corgan were said to be the main guys in the frame to purchase TNA from the Carters, I still hope something like this happens, the advantage to having Jarrett back on board would be the business relationships he has with companies like AAA and NJPW.

Quote Destination America is advertising a three-hour episode of TNA Impact Wrestling for Friday, May 22nd. This is the episode taped last night and that explains why there were so many matches.

The episode is scheduled to begin at 8pm EST and run until 11pm EST. A three-hour replay will air immediately after.

Testing the waters for it to become a permanent thing down the line like Raw is?

If the extra hour means more TV time for those we hardly see then it would be a good thing.

If they make the extra hour a regular thing but waste it with replays of things that happened earlier in the show and giving the same guys even more airtime then it would suck.

I have a horrible feeling the extra hour is going to be used up for talking...

Seen a report saying the 3 hour episode will be a Destination X themed special episode.

This is good as it will help to fill the gaping void that's been left by removing almost all the PPV events, I've been saying for a while TNA could easily run 3 hour episodes as often as once a month replacing PPV's. I would welcome this meaning that they can just run Slammiversary and Bound for Glory as the two genuine PPV shows each year, this idea is totally feasible as well as Destination America are apparently happy to grant them extra TV time.

I don't see TNA extending Impact to three hours permanently, the switch to three hours by Raw has not been well received with even Triple H admitting he doesn't like it, plus it would mean more cost for TNA with them needing longer blocks of time at venues to tape TV.

All the buzz I'm hearing about Corgan in TNA is remarkable. He's in the right role to really make TNA good. My problem now is that since I don't get that channel, I'm not sure how to watch it, as I really am not a fan of downloading shit to watch later, because I really just won't do it, BUT I would love to start watching just to see what kind of storylines he can come up with and what kind of character changes he might make.

Download it mate it's the future, I get the channel which carrys TNA over here but I often still download as the channel airs it on a two day delay and isn't HD, so by downloading I can watch more or less straight after it airs in high def.

Good show this week with a decent main event featuring the Rising, Kurt Angle and Chris Melandez vs the Beatdown Clan, Eric Young and Bram, I really like the idea of a Bram/EY partnership as their similar crazy personas would make for some great entertainment.
Opening match of the best of five series between the Dirty Heels and the Wolves, I was tired and nodded off in the middle of this match but what I saw was solid action.

ECIII is gold on the mic and Mr Anderson is still a great promo guy so their interaction continues to be good, I wish Ken Anderson would revert back to his more edgy persona though as he just seems very ''PG'' these days.

The Dollhouse are as weird as they come but I'm liking Taryn as a heel and seeing her strutting around in her lacey underwear was a treat. Wink

No Bully Ray this week but plenty of name drops for him so it would suggest TNA are hopeful he will return in time.
