Now, don't be a fool and say hacksaw Jim Duggan or Hulk Hogan... LoL
I want Shane O'Mac to take the reigns in WWE so bad. He has a better mind for it than Vince does now. Shane would put a whole new spin on WWE than what Vince would. If and when Steph takes over it will be buisness as usual. I mean Steph is doing the same creative stuff as Vince. Sure, trips would be nice, but I think he would do a Jeff Jarrett and give his pal the push and not the talent. What do you guys think? |

I'm torn about HHH. I think he has always had a pretty good idea as to what fans want to see, but he is in the spotlight a heck of a lot, and has been overused over the years. The question is, would HHH be good creatively for WWE when he is not an active wrestler? I would like to think yes. But you never know. Shane could give the thing a real boot in the ass though. The problem with assessing this, is we have no clear cut way of tell what any of their vision would be, as it's not really allowed to get through. I do think HHH, the promoter would be good for business, as long as he wasn't HHH, the wrestler at the same time.

HHH. This man understands the pulse of the fans, what they want, who they want to see pushed, etc. Plus, he's got a mind for the business. Sure, he's Vince's son in-law, but he's being groomed for taking over the business, anyway. I think he'd be a great choice.

It was a few years ago someone stated that they felt Steph had a better mind for the business then Shane. We really can't say if Steph were to be the one to take over it would be business as usual cause of the fact she hasn't really run things on her own. Vince has always been there making sure things are done the way he wants them

Triple H. He knows the business and understands what todays fans want to see, Vince's main problem is he is completely out of touch with modern day wrestling, its like hes stuck in the 80's.
With Trips in charge its possible his buddies Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash would end up part of creative which would be great. |

A couple of years back I would´ve said trips in charge is a bad idea, but after hearing recent reports that, during his latest injury, Triple H was often backstage helping out in creative and stuff, I kinda revved 180 there. I think once he retires, he would make a good man in charge. and HBK and Nash (once retired of course) in creative can´t really be a bad idea either. From what rumor says, it is indeed Triple H that is groomed for taking over from Vince once the day comes where Vinnie Mac collapses on stage (that´s the way he will go, trust me). Rumor also says that Shane is not that interested in taking over running of the WWE.

I think Shane's more interested running the marketing side of the business and he seems to be faring pretty well in that category so why would he attempt to run the creative side of things?
With that said, I also think that Triple H is better suited to run the show. He is very passionated and dedicated to the business and I think he can be the one truly bringing wrestling back in the forefront, since he's so respectful of the business and the traditions. We can say whatever we want about him and his past political weight backstage but I believe too he knows the pulse of the fans and they want to see so I'd be definitely hopeful that Triple H in charge will eventually improve the product on TV. |

Triple H. Going by what everyone has said the guy has passion for this business and seemingly knows what the fans want to see... Aslong as he doesnt put himself on top of everyone like some promoters had done in the past (ie: Verne Gagne for AWA).

Actually, this is what scares me the most. I do not think that the favoritism of his pals (and holding down of others) will discontinue when/if he takes over. In fact I think it will get worse. Take that for what you will good or bad depending on your opinion of Sheamus and how soon prior to 2006 you think Rob Van Dam should have gotten a World Title push. And with Helmsley's Clique buddies there too? ![]() I have always looked upon Shane McMahon as the natural heir apparent to follow Vince Jr., Vincent (Sr.), Jess McMahon, and so back. I remember as far back as 1991 Vince Jr. was writing in WWF Magazine about how his father ran the company before him and about how he one day wants to have his son Shane (who was then pretty young although he had already long worked as a referee and ring crew guy) one day take over the company. And I certainly know that Vince wants to keep the company in the family; which was the main reason he refused to sell the WWF to Ted Turner when offered so many years ago. But I do know that Shane has seemingly little interest in professional wrestling these days (although I speculate that if Helmsley wasn't around he would have an interest). So after careful consideration, I've arrived at Stephanie as who "SHOULD" take over after Vince. The company would still be in the family, directly by blood at that, but the heir does not have to be male as the old traditions dictate. Steph does have an interest in the day to day operations of the WWE; and she has held numerous positions from on air roles such as GM to human resource positions in the front office. And of course she understands both the fan's and the corporate sides of the business. Plus she is great at acting in on air roles. I am not naive to the fact that Hunter Hearst Helmsley would obviously have considerable influence but I'd still be more comfortable with Steph. So that's my answer. Well, I am not sure if that scares me, as all have matured since back in the day, but I can assure you that had Shawn been in a position of power, one Bryan Danielson would certainly still be involved with the company.
