Who would be the better choice to be a world champion?

Here's 2 third generation wrestlers.

Joe Hennig (AKA Michael McGillicutty)
Career Highlights:
WWE Tag Team Champion w/ David Otunga
FCW Florida Heavyweight Champiom
FCW Florida Tag Team Champion (3X) Heath Slater, Brett DiBiase, Kaval

Ted DiBiase (Jr)
Career Highlights:
WWE World Tag Team Champion (2x) w/ Cody Rhodes
Million Dollar Champion

For me Ted just has that little bit more about him, but he also had too much too young that really ended up hurting him in the long run. He was doing brilliantly with Cody and then alongside Orton but they tried to make him breakout on his own way too soon, which was a shame.

Not disrespect to Joe Hennig who was a late-comer to the wrestling game, despite having fans high up the WWE ladder i've just never been totally impressed with him.

Ted has a better look, he's a good looking clean cut guy who you could sell easily well. He's very dull and a total one trick pony (only works in his dads gimmick) but he'd be a better face for the company.

Hennig is better in the ring and nXt season 2 final disaster aside, better on the stick too. Just has a lame, generic look and no gimmick to hook people in.

Dibiase would be the better of these two. Unlike Perfect JR, Ted has shown the ability to get the crowd to get invested in him to a large extent. (He got alot of nice Pops when he stood up to Orton at the end of Legacy)

McGuilicutty just outright stinks. Nothing about him stands out and seperates him from the rest and Dibiase JR at least has a track record of getting a strong reaction from the "wwe universe".

These are two guys I've been wanting to see reform The Fortunate Sons tag team. I want to like Hennig, very very much want to like that guy, but I don't know. Hennig is no spring chicken, if he's going to get over with the fans and stop screwing up his promos, he had better do it soon or he'll get nothing better than a tribute title run from the WWE so as to say thanks for all your hard work, you can carry a strap for a short time after WM when no one watches as a reward. Just like Christian.

DiBiase is on my watch list for the soon to be future endeavored. So I guess I'll go with Hennig.

Is this a more of a who will make the better Champ upon improving in the years to come or who "would have been" based on their performance so far? I ask this because both of these are severe stretches to be a World Champion, even more so than Miz was.

But I would go with McGillicutty by a hair; he is slightly better in the ring.

Thanks to Pac for the sig.

Hmm... decisions, decisions.

Why Hennig won't use his father's name is beyond me, although I don't see how changing his name would help him get over with fans.  His ring work is sloppy and he is rather dull and mundane, as stated by Lawler.  His promos are weak.

DiBiase is just recycling his father's gimmick with toting the Million dollar title and employing Virgil to help him get over in his matches, although Virgil didn't last long before Maryse was substituted in.  He is popular with the fans with his "DiBiase Posse" parties before the shows, which includes other stars and divas.

I'd say DiBiase by a mile.

Hennig - he is better in the ring and im sure WWE could build him up to champion status quite easily - he does need a gimmick though

Interesting. Both men still trying to break out of their fathers casting shadows that loom over their head like a black cloud. It is a blessing, but a curse at the same time, as they posses the genetically gifted ability that has been passed down to them, but its a shame they'll always be known as "His Kid".

Anyway, I can't make up my mind at the moment, but I will be back in the near future to make my descion...
