The Jeff Hardy v Shinsuke match lasted about 5 seconds. I at first thought Brock was wrestling in the match since it was only 5 seconds but alias I was wrong , Haha

The fans at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania definitely got the attention of Seth Rollins on Sunday night.

At the WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view last night, Dolph Ziggler defeated Rollins in the 30-minute Iron Man main event for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. At one point in the match, Rollins was up three falls to zero, but ended up failing to get the job done.

During the match, the fans in Pittsburgh began a trend of counting all the way down from ten to one every time another minute would wind down on the 30-minute clock. Rollins, who noticed the trend, tweeted his own countdown from ten to one on Twitter after the match.

The tweet ended up getting re-tweeted by the official WWE Twitter page, which led to a large influx of comments from the WWE Universe apologizing for the fans behavior in Pittsburgh last night.

A crowd of attention seeking marks.
 
One midcard title match lasting a few seconds.
 
Randall returning to heelishly attack the babyface former champion that was already laid out.
 
The other midcard title having way too many falls and being made to go into added time for no reason.
 
A female title match that was too obvious that Ronda would jump the barrier.
 
Management trying to copy a twenty year old memory instead of trying to make new ones.
 
A card full of promise on paper and it didn't create any lasting memory.
 
I would say 5/10 for what we saw. Even for ten pound a month on the network I feel short changed.

Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt Vs Curtis Axel & Bo Dallas should never have ended with a title change.

Dolph Ziggler On Raw has been around just about as long as anyone and yet needs all that help from his buddy who's been fired before?

Alexa Bliss & Nia Jax Partnership need to have no more matches because they suck.

Finn Balor & Baron Corbin Storyline was solid enough for a low card time filler.

No idea what Jeff Hardy & Shinsuke Nakamura Storyline was all about or the reasoning behind it.

Jeff Hardy is said to be injured so that may explain the quick US title match finish.

The first half of the card was mediocre filler stuff, nothing memorable aside from the shock Nakamura quick win and return and heel turn of Randall. The cage match was short and will only be remembered for them trying to recreate the Foley stunt, Owens’ heel work was top notch as always though.

Lashley vs Reigns I quite enjoyed although I felt the pace was a little sluggish at times and it could have been better. I’m glad Lashley got the win and now hopefully challenges Lesnar.

AJ vs Rusev was very watchable but the build up to the match was poor and it didn’t feel like a important World title match nor was it treated as such, eveyone knew AJ was winning and that hurt the match.

Nia vs Alexa I found a quite entertaining Extreme Rules match and it continued the build to Rousey/Bliss.

Rollins vs Ziggler was match of the night but the crowd were irritating and disrespectful. McIntyre looked like a beast again. It was the right call to have this match main event just a shame about the dumb attention seeking fans.

The show gets a 5/10 from me. Wasn’t terrible but rather forgettable overall, I could have easily just watched Lashley vs Reigns and the main event.

Also another 4 hour show which seems to be the minimum for all PPV’s now, I watched the pre-show matches too so feel like I literally spent half a day watching this PPV, for a B-Show it’s too long.

-- The entire main roster was brought in for Extreme Rules and those that weren't booked into matches were told it was for a "meeting" of some kind, completely unaware that it was due to the fact that Hulk Hogan would be apologizing in front of everyone.

-- Randy Orton was hidden in a bus until about 30 minutes before he was to make his on-camera appearance. His wife was brought to ringside shortly before the segment.

-- The original plan was for the 30-minute Iron Man match between Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler to open the show. , AJ Styles vs. Rusev, Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss and Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley were expected to be the last three matches to close the show. As noted, the order of matches was shifted very late in the day.

That's the kind of show that might make Vince feel like he needs to make more effort to turn up.
 
I don't see the point of what they did with Randall Keith Orton. His name doesn't warrant trying for a surprise.

Bad show overall, very little to crow about.  But here is our review.  Just to boast, I was 9 for 10 only missing KO winning via technicality.
