A good summation of the show from Kaos. No way they could not pick Kaval for the win as he was clearly the fan fave (and of some Pros as well obviously). I go along with Journeys ideas on where they will go - more likely because Kaval and Miz keep getting put in each others faces lately on both RAW and NXT2 (to build heat I guess), and Kaval-Bryan team looks to be on the cards. Hopefully if the bulk of NXT2 rookies do got to SD! that its simply not a Nexus replay.
Kaval was smoking in the triple threat match, as was Layla in her red dress and knee boots lol. Loved the way Layla kept moving behind/close to Kaval whenever Hennig came near her (lol) and Layla and Michelle boosting Kaval from the sideline. Dammit, Kaval has made me like LayCool.
The end of the show was totally confusing and honestly I had no idea wtf was going on. For me it was shades of TNA - that is, lets have a (pointless) mass brawl at the end of each show. Kaval gets beaten up by rookies, Pros run in, Riley runs in and beats up Watson for 30 seconds, Pros vanish (?????), Kaval left alone in ring with rookies. wtf? How the hell did the rookies drive out the pros?
The promos for NXT3 Pros and Rookies gave me chills. How can WWE credibly promote this diva rookie show, when the diva comp is so screwed? No one gives a rats ass about female wrestlers in WWE except as a leg and tittie show.
Kelly Kelly as a pro? See's a telegraph pole - no not her height, but because she always obviously telegraphs her next move. Surely her rookie can't be worse than she is LOL.
Vickie?!! WTF!! Apart from getting beaten up for shows, I can only think of her in one match in WWE ever (this year) doing a godawful frog splash - I forget on who now (no surprise).
Bellas, Fox, ditto Kelly Kelly, although they are slightly better in ring than Kelly.
     Primo wtf!!
Goldust.....well at least he is a comedian and can actually wrestle so he should do ok.
NXT3 will be trainwreck TV. I gotta watch. WWE management really need to either get off the drugs or actually talk to fans.

Given the way that NXT is run, it would be near impossible for Beth Phoenix to remain out of an altercation, especially how she feels in regards to some of the other diva's.  Lets face it, it wouldn't be NXT if the Pro's didn't show some emotion and strong support for their respective rookies.

I do agree that the show would be that much more interesting and entertaining with Phoenix on the list of Pro's.  I do enjoy watching her in the ring as she is more about wrestling than flaunting femininity.  WWE needs more diva's like Phoenix and I think they have come to realize that with her being out on injury.

When it comes to current diva's ..... think about it.... are there any really that are worth their weight in ability to mentor?  Perhaps Eve and Melina, but my mind runs blank on the rest.  Shows how much of an impression they have made in my mind. Please don't say Maryse... other than sex, she promotes nothing else. I just wish they hadn't let go of Mickey James.  Perhaps they now regret what they have done.

Regardless I am still looking forward to seeing what WWE has in store for these women and who they have chosen to beef up their diva division.

After reading the thoughts of others, I have came to the conclusion that NXT season 3 isn't so much about beefing up the diva divsion as it is about giving the Miz some time off from the show.  NOC is coming up, although they have laid the foundation for a rivalry between Bryan and Mike the Miz, they really need to beef up these rivalries to make them believable for NOC.

This just might explain why you see The Bella Twins, Vicki, Fox and Kelly Kelly as pro's.   They need Lay-Cool to be free for the Unification of the woman's titles.

On second thought - it is also possible that Kaval may be sent to Smackdown (even with the Genesis faction) to bring a rift between Lay-Cool.  They can't keep up this storyline forever and the seed has been planted for a romance between Kaval and Layla ... McCool will get upset with Layla for not confiding in her and lying to her when Michelle asked Layla about it two weeks or so ago and Layla denied any feelings for Kaval.

See what happens when you give this female food for thought?  LOL

John Cena on being an NXT Pro: "yes I asked, and was denied. Apparently u need more than 2 moves to offically be called a "pro" (enjoy that one)"

So even John Cena gets told no some of the time by management.

I don't think both parts of his tweet are related. It will have been fans saying he's only two moves.

Shame as he would have been the first serious name to be used on the show as a pro before.

My thoughts on the finale:

McGilla-gorilla's promo started off decent but ended weak.  I still can't take Joe Hennig serious with that name.  Husky Harris I sorta get--his father is still known in WWE as IRS, and that gimmick is so dated, so having him use the family name probably wouldn't help.  But Hennig is a third generation talent.  I still don't get why WWE didn't use either Hennig (or even Perfect) as his last name.  Hearing him trying to say McGillicutty in a threatening manner was laughable.

The big beatdown I think was meant to bookend the beatdown the Pros gave the Rookies at the beginning of the season.  But it was so sloppy.  Kaval did an excellent job of selling each attack... John Cena should take notes.

Did anyone else notice Titus O'Neil no selling MVP's offense?  There was a reason he was sent back to FCW so quickly, and he is still nowhere near ready for this exposure.  I hope someone said something to him in back about it.

Alex Riley turned around and attacks Percy Watson and dumps him out of the ring.  Then seconds later Watson is back with the others.  I think Riley screwed up.

Is WWE seriously going to call the NXT2 crew Genesis?  Maybe someone should have pointed out that Genesis is the name of a TNA PPV.  And TNA has been using that name for 5 years now.  Hopefully, Dixie Cart gets a chance to have her lawyers send Vince a "cease-and-desist" letter for a change.
Does anyone understand the urgent need for a sarcasm font?

This is my impression based on what Hennig said as his final speech.

As for a Cease and Desist.. no can do.  The Bible owns the right -- therefore ...Dixie Carter and TNA don't have a leg to stand on.
