Quote Interested in expanding its roster, WWE is reportedly set to offer numerous TNA and independent names developmental deals with the company.

PWInsider.com specifically reports that WWE has shown interest in Mikey Batts and Quiet Storm. Should Batts sign the agree to the deal he received, he would begin training in WWE's Deep South Wrestling territory.

Although actual names are not presently available, those two are not the only wrestlers being targeted by WWE.

lets speculate people. i wonder who wwe want from tna. chances are they will get used wrong but vince wont care because it will weaken the tna talent pool. aj styles signed a new contract so he wont go and doesnt want to anyway. i reckon monty brown could come in to smackdown. but bobby lashley looks like him so he will be better off on raw.

Well Vince is just opening his pocket book to make shure that TNA dosen't get new wrestlers that have the possibilty of being a "breakout star".

AJ Styles was offered a contract by WWE several years ago but AJ wants to stay on the underground he probaly likes wrestling for indys and makes more money that way.

Thats why AJ said he likes TNA. He doesn't like the mass of story telling in the WWE. He believes TNA is more about the wrestling. I agree with him to a certain extent. I think thats why half the Indy wrestlers won't go. Others will go for the money. But then they don't get used to their full potential. I mean look at CM Punk.! They have done nothing with him. Same would be said for Samoan Joe if they had signed him. They like to mould them into their own and not something that they have become on the Indy scene.

Also half the moves they get away with wouldn't be sanctioned in WWE. which is harsh cause its not down to them controlling the move its a current star selling the move without injury!

I'd love them to get some indy's in but by the looks of things they are doing pretty well with the youngsters with the likes of Lashley and Kennedy!

So testosterone boys, and harelequin girls.

Will you dance to this beat and hold a lover close.

hitler II i see the comparison, couple of million jews
die and firing a couple of shitty indie league
wrestlers.

I think they should hire monty brown and raven,
again.

It all depends if the wrestlers in question want financial success or want to put on a good show for the fans who go to the Indie shows and support them. Raven won't go back to WWE because he'd get lost in the mid-card again and the likes of Daniels, AJ and co would be much better staying away because they don't  know how to use smaller guys

(WWE) - Partial Source: The Pro Wrestling Torch

Recent online reports have suggested that WWE is interested in signing several talents from TNA once their contracts with the company expire. Here is a breakdown of the rumored names and if WWE is interested:

* Rob Van Dam – WWE is interested in bringing him back.

* Matt Morgan – WWE was interested in Morgan last year but he chose to stick with TNA.

* Bully Ray – WWE has shown some interest in the former Tag Team Champion. No word yet if they’re interested in bringing Ray back with Devon as Team 3D.

* The Pope – Officials were interested early last year when he was being pushed but not so much anymore.

* Samoa Joe – There is no interest from WWE.

* Ink Inc. – There may be some interest in bringing back Shannon Moore down the road but Jesse Neal is viewed as a developmental prospect at best.

* James Storm and Robert Roode – WWE had interest last year in bringing Beer Money in as a tag team but word is that they’re not interested in bringing the former TNA Tag Team Champions in as singles wrestlers.

Of that list Matt Morgan would be the most likely name WWE would want. He is still young, he has charisma and mic-skills, hes not a bad big-man style worker, and perhaps most importantly he has the large super-human look WWE love so much. He was very green last time he was in WWE, his time in TNA has seen him evolve in to a competent performer.
Morgan would likely be tempted as well. It could be argued he has been held back in TNA behind the likes of Jeff Hardy, RVD, Sting, Ken Anderson and other big names. WWE would likely pay decent money that would afford him a comfortable lifestyle and he is still young enough to become a big star in the business.

I'm surprised WWE is said to have no interest in Bobby Roode, with his polished in-ring skills, decent ability on the mic and his look I thought they would definitely want him, especially as he is so much like a young Triple H.

The Pope is charismatic and good in the ring, WWE were foolish to let him go before and with him being so poorly used in TNA they should definitely grab a opportunity to lure him back, he definitely has big star potential.

Bully Ray should be left well alone, hes to old and beat up to work the schedule and is better suited to the less watered down TNA environment. I cant see any major interest from WWE unless they are desperate to boost the tag-ranks and bring back Bubba and Devon.

RVD I would prefer to see stay in TNA but WWE may be interested in a guy who will always get a good pop from the crowd.
I think Rob Van Dam's demands will be what sees him stay in TNA, he will likely want big money for a reduced schedule.

Other talent I think WWE should look at in TNA would be Crimson, Austin Aries and perhaps AJ Styles and Ken Anderson.

Lets see:

RVD- locked in with TNA through March 2013
Matt Morgan- Signed a 5 year deal in October of 2009
James Storm- Re-upped with TNA in 2009 with a 3-4 year deal
Robert Roode- Re-upped with TNA in 2009 with a 3-4 year deal
Bully Ray- signed a 2 year deal in Novemmber 2010
The Pope- Signed a 3 year extension in Spring 2010
Samoa Joe- Signed 2 year extension in Decmber 2010/january 2011

Looks like these TNA wrestlers are locked into TNA deals for the next 12 months at least

Do the PWTorch guys do any research or are they just bored and decided to waste people's time
